Greenborne

Greenborne Joinery is a high-end bespoke joinery brand based in Hampshire. Formerly known as RW Armstrong Joinery, the company has recently rebranded to establish a distinct identity, separate from its parent construction firm, RW Armstrong.

The new name, Greenborne, draws from the brand’s heritage; its craftsmen have worn dark green uniforms for over 60 years, a tradition that now informs the visual identity.

Today, Greenborne presents itself as a bright, modern, and approachable brand. The chosen colour palette and typography reflect a balance between premium quality and friendly accessibility.

This project posed a unique challenge: Greenborne needed to align with the broader RW Armstrong group while also standing apart from its sister brand, Saint John, another bespoke joinery service positioned at the high end of the market. Where Saint John embraces a dark, moody aesthetic, Greenborne takes a contrasting approach, light, energetic, and inviting. This contrast influenced every design decision, from branding to photography direction.
